Today, the Center for Creative Solutions, Inc.™ announced details of this year’s ForumCornucopia. Its theme is "Building Your Capacity to Serve Community."


As always, the forum is open to the general public. However, this year, the Center is targeting non-profit organizations who serve our community. "A non-profit ourselves, we want to help others build their capacities to meet local and regional human needs," said Cynthia A. Hedge, CEO of the Center.

To accommodate the schedules of more people, the forum will consist of three sessions over six weeks. Each will focus on several topics and held at a different time of the day and place. Here are the dates and locations for each session:

Thursday, October 9, 2014, 8:00 - 9:30 a.m., light breakfast, Board of Directors - Responsibilities and Liabilities - Northern Indiana Education Foundation, 402 Franklin Square, Michigan City.

Thursday, October 23, 2014, 12 noon - 1:30 p.m., box lunch, Civility in the Workplace - Greater La Porte Economic Development Corporation, 809 Washington Street, La Porte.

Thursday, November 6, 2014, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., wine and cheese, Planned Giving: Building a Plan - Northern Indiana Education Foundation, 402 Franklin Square, Michigan City.

Individuals may attend one, two or three of the sessions. Registration fees are: $20 for one, $30 for two and $35 for three. Included are presentations, activities, materials and refreshments.
